About Craftpom.com

So you want to know how to make a pom pom! You have come to the right place. Pom Pom crafts have been my thing since I was a child.  My name is Nancy Abell, and this is my pom pom story...

When I was in early junior high-school my aunt gave me a box of yarn that was left over from her crochet projects. That box became a treasure box for me and started a hobby that has continued to this day.

I started to create and sell all different kinds of animals, decorations and toys. I called my business, "Nancy's Pom Pom Palace". I sold many in craft fairs and craft consignment shops. I even took orders at school. Looking back, I really didn't make a whole lot of money considering the cost of the materials and the time that went into them, but I had a lot of fun with it! I dreamed of one day having my own store. Of course I would call it Nancy's Pom Pom Palace.

It is really quite amazing that my childhood dream has been fullfilled in a totally different way than I could have ever imagined. I am thrilled that there are people all over the world who want to know how to make these little creations. Thanks to modern technology I can help teach them.

As time allows I will be adding to the site. It is my hope that you will truly enjoy making these little creations and that you will bless others by giving them away.

If you use any of these ideas in a unique way - for a wedding , or special birthday party or other celebration, please send us a picture. We would love to see the pom poms in action! We may even post it on the site!
